Since Ethnography and Sensorial Cinema are two of its core themes in this upcoming edition we have propose them to show the mind-blowing and yet very unknown work of Cuban Filmmaker Nicolás Guillén Landrián (Camagüey 1938 -Miami 2003).
What survived of his work – censored, scorned, forgotten and unknown to the vast majority – is now an exceptional document of post-revolutionary Cuba, an unofficial vision challenging the hegemonic discourse of the time deeply chaotic and full of contradictions.
