Garbiñe Ortega

Garbiñe Ortega is a film curator. Her curatorial projects have been programmed internationally at the Film Society of Lincoln Center (New York), Tate Modern (London), Austrian Film Museum (Vienna), Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (Berkeley, California), National Gallery of Art (Washington) and Centre for Contemporary Culture (Barcelona). She was programing director of Ambulante and co-founder of Zineleku, a film screening and training project carried out in the Basque Country. She was recently appointed as artistic director of Punto de Vista Film Festival.

Gerwin Tamsma

Working with IFFR since 1996, he has been involved in many aspects of film programming, including curating and initiating various programmes, focuses and retrospectives. Is curator of the Bright Future section. As a programmer, he is responsible for selecting feature films from Latin America, Chinese speaking countries, Korea, Scandinavia, Italy, Spain and Portugal. He is also part of the selection committee of the Hubert Bals Fund.
