Industry-focused activity within the framework of the festival
As part of its commitment to the audiovisual sector, Play-Doc also organizes professional activities aimed at strengthening the audiovisual ecosystem. One of them is a meeting on public audiovisual policies, which will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the festival venue in Tui.
Coordinated by the CP2 Group of the University of Vigo, this session is designed for filmmakers, producers, and festival professionals, aiming to strengthen ties between institutions and industry professionals and to contribute to the construction of a more solid, diverse, and sustainable ecosystem.
The meeting will feature representatives from the main public agencies supporting audiovisual production and dissemination —AGADIC, ICAA, and MEDIA— who will present their main funding lines and outline the strategic objectives of their policies at the regional, national, and European scale. An open discussion with the audience will follow, creating a forum to exchange questions, experiences, and reflections on current challenges and developments in the field.
