The festival reached an audience of more than 45,000 online and on-site, the highest figures of its history. The nineteenth edition of Play-Doc, International Film Festival in Tui will be held from 26th April to 1st May 2023. The call for entries for Play-Doc 2023 is now open. The Galician festival’s collaboration with DAFilms, the global streaming platform where part of its 2022 programme was made available, has just ended, and Play-Doc brings to a close an edition that has broken audience records with a total of 45,295 spectators, both in its physical and virtual version.
The 40,000 spectators that Play-Doc reached on FILMIN, with more than 23,000 views in just 10 days, made it one of the most watched festivals on the prestigious Spanish online streaming platform. In addition, there were 3,674 spectators in person, more than half a thousand on DAFilms and more than a thousand viewers for the rest of the online activities.
With 16% World Premieres, 24% International Premieres and 30% Spanish Premieres, the most recent edition of Play-Doc strengthened its position on the international festival scene, once again highlighting the rigour of its content and the unparalleled nature of its offerings. Play-Doc thus closes a memorable edition with excellent figures and important national and international media coverage.

The International Film Festival of Tui, Play-Doc will celebrate its nineteenth edition from 26th April to 1st May 2023.
The festival has now opened the call for entries for Play-Doc 2023, with an entry deadline of 15th March.
