A German riot police officer of Galician origin and an undocumented Peruvian immigrant cross Europe towards Fisterra, carrying with them ashes and extinct images to the edge of the continent. Along the way, a truck driver travels across European roads while reading the chronicles of El Dorado, actors stage The Triumph of Death and interview marginal nomads, and a hybrid road movie unfolds between fiction and reality.
Ursúas is a hybrid road film—part documentary, part performance, part visual essay—that traces a contemporary drift across Europe, echoing the failed expedition of Pedro de Ursúa and Inés de Atienza in search of El Dorado, revealing an unsettled landscape suspended between defeat, memory, and disappearance.
