“Sincero, apaixonado” is a sensory wander through the interior regions of Portugal, accompanied by various voices reading and rereading snippets from the diary of a vagabond madly in love. Moving through desillusioned landscapes, this experimental film retraces, day after day, night after night, the writer’s feverish wandering, embedded in the country’s marked socio-economic and geographical disparities.
