Over the course of seven days, a film crew filmed the daily lives of the residents of Edifício Master, a building in Copacabana, one block from the beach. The building has 12 floors and 23 apartments per floor — 276 apartments in total — where around 500 people live. Thirty-seven of them tell their own stories: the happy, the deluded, the disillusioned, the hopeful, the sincere, the abandoned, the joyful, the successful, the austere, the gentle, the sad, the unemployed, the honorable, the forgotten, the talented, the foreigners, the resentful, the lovers.

Edifício Master is a film of stories, of lives.
