Recently arrived in the city, Tina rents a room at a hostel called Villanueva. Javier, a member of an organization which is resisting Franco, is also living in this hostel. The two of them begin an intimate relationship. Fearing that they might be discovered by the owner of the hostel, they are forced to be secretive. Filmed in two weeks under a high degree of secrecy with a negligible budget and a few technical means, Contactos is one of the first underground anti-Franco features, considered one of the most important film of the seventies.
