Trilitrate proposes a sonic journey where folk, classical and contemporary music intersect naturally. Formed by Rubén Abad (guitar and vocals), Elena Vázquez (violin), Marcos Padrón (accordion) and Berto Lozano (live visuals), the Galician group presents Está de Grelo, their third album, in which they approach different traditions from a contemporary perspective.
The album brings together diverse influences — from Balkan to Celtic folk — and establishes connections with composers such as Ravel or Stravinsky, while maintaining a recognisable acoustic base. From there, the group develops compositions that alternate more restrained moments with others of greater intensity, with a direct and unembellished approach.
Live, Trilitrate presents a performance in which the music is accompanied by live visuals that interact with what happens on stage. This combination defines their way of bringing the repertoire to the stage and places their live performance in a space close to the cinematic, where everything integrates naturally.
