French Riviera brings back the pulse of disco, funk and 1980s electronics from a contemporary perspective. Behind the project is Galician musician David Fermoselle, a saxophonist, keyboardist and producer who has performed at festivals such as FIB Benicàssim, Sonorama, Jazzaldia, Low Festival and Arenal Sound, both with his band Belöp and as part of Villanueva. Here he develops an imaginary linked to funk guitars, disco drums and a cinematic aura reminiscent of the golden age of neon and retrofuturism.
Following Weekend in Montecarlo, he presents new material that continues this intersection between retro and present in a continuous live format designed for the dance floor.
