Multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, producer and visual artist, Domenico Lancellotti is one of the great names in contemporary Brazilian popular music. Born in Rio de Janeiro, of Italian descent, he formed the experimental rock band Mulheres Que Dizem in the 1990s and began working with Moreno Veloso and Alexandre Kassin in the project + 2.

He was one of the founders of Orquestra Imperial and collaborated with the projects Os Ritmistas, Vamos Estar Fazendo and Meia Banda. As a musician, composer and producer, he worked with Adriana Calcanhotto, Caetano Veloso, Arto Lindsay, Gilberto Gil, Moreno Veloso, Gal Costa and Chrissie Hynde.

He has also composed soundtracks for theatre, dance and art installations. Following on from Cine Privê (2011) and Serra dos Órgãos (2017), he recently released Raio, an album recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon, which explores the roots of Brazilian popular music and the rhythms of electronica, with a “feeling of reconstruction, and rebirth.”

La Polla Records, one of the most legendary punk bands, returns to bid its farewell. To celebrate the group’s last tour, its singer, Evaristo Páramos, revives 40 years of history from his town in the Basque Country. This is the extraordinary tale of villagers who revolutionised incensed music with songs turned into hymns by their thousands of followers.
