Play-Doc is also music, and this year more than ever, music has an enormous presence throughout the program.
If that were not enough, for this edition there is the very special participation of Sinsal Son Estrella Galicia, one of our favourite music festivals, as well as one of the most original we know.
Together we share a passion for music, hard work, and a love of alternative exciting culture with real personality. That is why we are very happy to share our screens, microphones and stages with them.
They will show us the hidden side of their magnificent festival in the documentary Tres días. Un barco. Auga., and to celebrate this we have jointly prepared a program of fantastic concerts for Saturday night.

Three days on an island. A festival that can only be reached by boat. And water, nothing but water all around. The Festival Sinsal Son Estrella Galicia takes place every year on the island of San Simón, a historic location at the north-east end of the Vigo estuary, the Ría de Vigo. Tres días. Un Barco. Auga. is an impressionistic perspective on this singular event, a distillation of multi-faceted conversations, which serve as a window onto the space and time of an international festival which stays with you after you leave.

One of the most interesting names of the new Portuguese music scene; Da Chick has recently been selected to represent Portugal in the latest edition of Eurosonic, the great European showcase for new talent.
With passion and straightforwardness Da Chick knows what she wants. She brings the old school Funk, the eternal groove of Soul, and jumps to the Disco rhythm with a cocktail in her hand, singing sugary words on delicious beats since 2009.

Youthless are Klimovsky Alex (drums, synthesizer and vocals), Sebastian Ferranti (bass and vocals) and Francisco Ferreira on the keys. This trio divides his time between Lisbon and London, where they recorded their first EP Telemachy, produced by Rory Attwell (Test Icicles).
The unique and unmistakable style and sound of this band has made them a reference on the London, New York and Lisbon music scene. Youthless were named “Best New Band of 2011” by the English blog ANBAD and the BBC1.
This past March presented its long-awaited album This Glorious No Age, mixed by Justin Garrish (Vampire Weekend, The Strokes, Weezer), and remixed tracks by Olugbenga, Metronomy’s bassist.
