adomaAkosua Adoma Owusu is an avant-garde filmmaker and producer whose films have screened worldwide in prestigious film festivals, museums, galleries, universities and cinemas. Her work addresses the collision of identities. Named by Indiewire as one of the 6 Avant-Garde Female Filmmakers Who Redefined Cinema, Akosua Adoma Owusu is a MacDowell Colony Fellow and a Guggenheim Fellow. Founded in 2007, her company, Obibini Pictures, LLC, has produced award-winning films including Reluctantly Queer (nominated for the Golden Bear and Teddy Award at the Berlinale, 2016). Her work is included in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Fowler Museum, Yale University Film Study Center, and Indiana University Bloomington, home of the Black Film Center/Archive.

kumjanaKumjana Novakova is the co-founder and director of the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She studied political science and social research in Sofia, Sarajevo, Bologna and Amsterdam, focusing on the issues of identity, until she co-founded the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival in 2006. She initiated the establishment of the first regional creative documentary school in the Balkans – ACTive, in cooperation with DokuFest from Prizren, and MakeDox from Skopje. She also teaches socially engaged documentary cinema in the film.factory, Sarajevo.

nuno-lisboaNuno Lisboa Afonso is the Director of Doc’s Kingdom, the annual International Seminar on Documentary Film presently based in Arcos de Valdevez, in northern Portugal. Nuno is also the Vice-president of Apordoc – the Portuguese Documentary Association. He also teaches undergraduate courses in Sound and Image at Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences
from the Social and Human Sciences Department at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where he is preparing his doctoral thesis on Cinema.

Collaborator of La Furia Umana, Cinergia and El Destilador Cultural. Juror in Márgenes and for the Premio Ópera prima del Col.legi de directors i directores de cinema de Catalunya. Actress in The Academy of the Muses by José Luis Guerín.

luis-mendoncaLuís Mendonça 
Graduate in Social Communication by the Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. Master in Communication Sciences in the speciality of Cinema and Television by the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He has worked in the functional area of programming of the Cinemateca Portuguesa – Museu do Cinema. He writes for two sites that he founded: for the blog CINEdrio and for À pala de Walsh. Delegate of CAMIRA in Portugal.

gabriela-wondracekGabriela Wondracek Linck
Delegate of CAMIRA in Germany. She writes in magazines like La Furia Umana, Interlúdio, Rebeca (SOCINE), Cadernos de Não-Ficção, Aurora or Zinematógrafo. Curator of programs like “Nouvelle Vague Tcheca – O Outro Lado da Europa”, for Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, or “Frutos do Paraíso”, in Sala P.F. Gastal, in Porto Alegre. She has collaborated in several festivals, such as Fronteira Film Festival de Cine Documentário e Experimental. She produced the film Terror (2015). She is currently working as a producer in the documentary Beyond Borders Band.
