Carmen Gray
Carmen Gray was born in New Zealand and now lives in Berlin. She is a freelance journalist and film critic who has written for publications including The Guardian, The Observer, Sight & Sound, Screen International, The Calvert Journal, Senses of Cinema and Estonian culture weekly Sirp. She is the former Film Editor of Dazed & Confused magazine in London. She is also a film programmer, and is on the selection committee for Berlin Critics’ Week. She has served on juries at many major festivals, and she regularly teaches writing workshops for young critics in Poland, Serbia and Estonia.
Jake Perlin
Jake Perlin is the Artistic and Programming Director of Metrograph, a cinema in Manhattan, and the Executive Director of Cinema Conservancy, film production and consultancy non-profit dedicated to American Independent film. Previously, he was Programmer-at-Large for the Film Society of Lincoln Center, and was awarded the 2015 Film Heritage prize from the National Society of Film Critics. Perlin is the founder of Film Desk, a film distribution company releasing new 35mm prints of masterpieces by Rivet, Truffaut, Godard, Pialat, Garrel, Sontag, Denis and others. Perlin was Assistant Curator at BAMcinematek from eight years, and has presented film programs at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid and the Human Rights Film Festival in Zagreb.
Philippe Azoury
Philippe Azoury trabajó como crítico de cine para el diario Libération, y también colaboró con Les Inrocks, Cahiers du Cinéma y Vogue. En la actualidad, Azoury es el editor cultural de Grazia. También es autor, junto con Jean-Marc Lalanne, de Fantômas, style moderne (2002, Yellow Now) y Jean Cocteau et le cinéma: Désordres (2003, Cahiers du Cinéma – Centre Georges Pompidou, premio Philippe Arnaud 2003) y ha publicado, en colaboración con el fotógrafo Antoine D’Agata, Stigma (2006, Images en manoeuvre). Es autor del libro de entrevistas con Adolfo Arrietta, Un morceau de ton rêve (2012, Capricci). Y escribió, en 2013, el primer ensayo en francés sobre Philippe Garrel: Philippe Garrel en substance. Actualmente trabaja en un libro sobre Jim Jarmusch.
