Rita Azevedo Gomes

Since her first feature film, The Sound of the Earth Shaking (1990), she has developed an independent approach to cinema. Her filmography includes Fragile as the World (2001), The 15th Stone (2004), A Woman’s Revenge (2011), Correspondences (2016), The Portuguese Woman (2018), Danses Macabres, Skeletons, and Other Fantasies (2019), co-directed with Pierre Léon and Jean-Louis Schefer. She also develops artistic projects in theatre and opera. Former film programmer at the Cinemateca Portuguesa.

Hayet Benkara

Hayet Benkara

Hayet Benkara is a French-born, Toronto and Europe-based film industry advisor. In 2012, she created and managed TIFF Studio, and produced TIFF Talent Lab. Benkara worked for many prestigious film festivals such as Cannes (Producers Network), Berlinale, IFFR (co-production market CineMart), Dubai, Abu Dhabi International Film Festivals (UAE), or The Doha Film Institute, among others. In the past three years, she has been head of studies at the Open Doors Lab of the Locarno Film Festival, and pitching coach at the Atlas workshop of the Marrakech Film Festival. Since 2021 she curates le Nouveau Marché, a co-production market at the Festival du nouveau cinema in Montreal.

Shivendra Singh Dungarpur

Shivendra Singh Dungarpur

Shivendra Singh Dungarpur is an award-winning filmmaker, producer and archivist. Passionately committed to film preservation and restoration, he established Film Heritage Foundation (FHF), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring India’s film heritage. FHF is the only non-governmental organization working in the field of film preservation in India. Shivendra is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF). He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of MAMI (Mumbai Film Festival). Shivendra has produced and directed close to 1000 advertising films, short films and documentaries under the banner of his production house “Dungarpur Films”.

Joséphine Derobe

Joséphine Derobe

Joséphine Derobe is an artist and a director exploring narrative and immersive forms in the fields of cinema, immersive digital arts and theater.  She developed her projects in parallel of her stereographer activity in cinema -Wim Wenders’ 3D Everything will be fine, Cathedrals of Culture, Pina. Joséphine has written and directed 3D short films and VR inmersive documentaries. Currently she is working on an interactive VR project Moi Fauve (Bear my Soul) that will be premiered at “Nemo” biennale of digital arts in Paris. She also gives seminars and workshops exploring the new territories of 3D technology.

Jaime Pena

Jaime Pena

Jaime Pena is a film critic and programmer at the Filmoteca de Galicia. He is a member of the editorial board of Caimán – Cuadernos de Cine and a regular contributor to magazines such as the Argentinean El Amante and A Sala Llena. He is the author of El cine después de Auschwitz. Representaciones de la ausencia en el cine moderno y contemporáneo (Cátedra, 2020) and El espíritu de la colmena (Paidós, 2004), he has coordinated the publication of Edward Yang (Donostia Kultura, 2008) and Historias extraordinarias. Nuevo cine argentino 1999-2008 (T&B Editores, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival, 2009), as well as several volumes on the history of Spanish cinema and Galician audiovisuals.

Andrea Queralt

Andrea Queralt

Born in Spain and based in Paris, since 2014 she is part the company 4 A 4 Productions. Her first feature film as a producer, Avant la fin de l’été by Maryam Goormaghtigh (2017), was the Opening film at ACID Cannes in 2017. Her second feature film as a producer, O que arde by Oliver Laxe premiered in the Official selection of Cannes Film Festival Un certain Regard 2019 and was awarded with the Jury Prize. She is also producing Oliver Laxe’s next feature film, After; Sobre todo de noche by Víctor Iriarte;  Mare’s nest by Ben Rivers, as well as PEPE by Nelson Carlo de los Santos Arias, among others. In 2020 she was the French representative for Producers on the Move, a selection of 20 promising European producers promoted by MEDIA and Eurimages.
