At this stage in the game, it is absurd to discuss the power of the Internet in our society in general terms and how it has transformed the audiovisual sphere in particular. Nevertheless, we believe that physical spaces are still needed by virtual projects, in order for them to take shape, be discussed, and gain the impetus they need to come alive.

In this section, we will present three projects based on the documentary form whose process of creation draws upon the Internet and new technology. All of these films take the specific and unique from a region to speak to the world to reveal its idiosyncrasies. These projects are:
