In September 2007, Manolo Paz (Cambados, 1957) starts working on a new individual exhibition for the SCQ gallery in Santiago de Compostela. It is the first one in Galicia after a decade.
Following the ‘guichi-guichi’ rhythm ( jargon referred to the sound of the chisel) Manolo Paz completes his work: three pieces called Cloud, Rice Fields, and Staircase.
Once again Manolo paz reflects his native Salnés through a series of works representing his respect to Earth, the abstraction and the power of signs, and that we will be able to see at Play-Doc on the ocassion of the screening of ‘Un Mar de Pedra’ directed by Manu Paz and Xacobo Sanmartín.
