Graduated of National Cinema School Louis Lumiere in Paris in 1989, Georgi Lazarevski works as freelance photographer, especially involved in humanitarian organizations in Sarajevo , Bagdad, or Mali, as well as cinematographer and second unit DPO on several feature films, such as 2008 Cannes Awards Winning "Entre les murs". He directed his first documentary in 2006, "Voyage en sol majeur", and won awards in numerous international festivals. Both this film and the next one, ‘This Way Up’, were shown at Play-Doc in previous editions. Georgi Lazarevski is also member of ACID (Agence pour la Diffusion du Cinema Independant).
