Filmmaker, director of photography, scenarist and prestigious photographer, Bogdan Dziworski is one of the main representatives of the avant-garde and experimental Polish Cinema. In his films, that easily move from reality to magic realism, Dziworski acts as a silent witness of people’s emotions and struggle, paying the same respectful attention to foreground and background. The particular use of the sound, the astonishing beauty and strength of the images and the total absence of dialogues, are common elements in his works. The circus, the sports and the human strength are also recurrent subjects.
