Audrius Stonys (Vilnius, Lithuania, 1966)

Audrius Stonys is one of the most remarkable names of the new generation of Lithuanian filmmakers. His personal cinematographic style, with deep introspective attitude, certain scepticism about language and strong metaphorical abstraction, made him won many prestigious international awards. Member of the European Film Academy and the European Documentary Network ,Stonys has taught documentary filmmaking in Tokyo and Copenaghen, and now, he will also be at Play-Doc, giving a workshop-seminar and a masterclass.
